Don't even get me started on voip ffs. As you may know from previous postings I have mines all set up nicely and working like a charm. My sister has just recently moved house to a very poor reception area (She always just used mobiles) Now I have given her FREE an old usb voip phone. She has a er modified cable modem, I have also donated an old router for her so she can even set the usb voip phone (Which works perfectly BTW) in any room in the house. But hell no not my dear sister. She calls us up almost daily (which being a bloke I fookin hate btw.....but hey don't women LOVE to talk). So anyway she calls us up and all I hear is stutter static and can you hear me now hello hello hello. Now when I see her number either the misses answers and puts up with it or I ignore/reject it.
For the sake of 2 mins she would have voip all set up.....gawd I even set her an account up with a number in and 10 euro credit.....there is most probably free mins remaining on the account. I Hate her for not using VOIP lol. If she were to fork out another £20 then she could connect her old landline up as well which is a hands free. Now I have given up. I don't even mention it any more.
Sorry for the rant. But yeah I love voi lol.
