Hi

I have 2 nokia dbox2's that seem to have died completely but in different ways, and its with one of these that you might be able to help me.

essentially whats happened is that the dbox had its entire flash erase, including operating system, and boot and so on, so that when started up, there is no output from bmon, or neutrino or anything just a blank LCD that lights up

what happened was I flashed an image to the box, but lost power part way thru, (electric to house went as did much of the street)
when all came back dbox didnt have klien system, but wasnt working either, checked the flash and it had a partial image, so that it started to load and then died.

so like an idiot, I used hyperterminal to erase the what I though was the bad image, 'erase all', exept that protection was off because of the previous flash attempt and when I rebooted, everything is gone.

is there anyway to restore the 2x flash chips or forcefeed it the bmon neutrino etc ?, I had thought perhaps network, but of course without working image, or bmon, no network, then tried hyperterminal again, but dont even get a prompt.

my only other thought is can you boot from an ide or usb flash drive, if I can find out how to connect one, anyone know how nokia would do it, do they program the flash before soldering them in ?
