Thinking about it, a Caravan, Trailor Tent or Camper Van may only do several hundred miles a year so it can take a lot of years to wear out the tread.
As my shed is 10 years old, there is a good chance the tyres have been on from new, before I set off home I had a quick look and found one had cracks half way round the upper wall as per picture enclosed, quite worrying when you consider my shed tyre pressures are rated at 52 psi So, don't go by tread, if the tyres are a few years old then a good chance they could be perishing. Also worth investing in tyron bands as they could save you if you do have a blowout. SS
