For those of you using the earlier 3G Vodafone K3565 (E160X), you are probably like me holding onto it because Vodafone no longer sell the PAYG with no expire time limit sim card that came with them.
One problem with these dongles is the poor signal when out in a Caravan, however after some googling, it appears these dongles actually have an antenna socket that isn't accessable! The link below provides details of simply making a hole in the dongle to access the antenna socket. Vodafone - Huawei K3765 Modem - Austech Although that link quotes a similar dongle (K3765), I just opened mine up to find it has the socket inside. So I have just modded the case as above. ![]() All that is needed now is a hi-gain gsm antenna with a CRC9 connector to put on the shed roof! SS
