Not sure, the Neo is pretty new and I don't know anyone who has one.

I have a Coolstream HD1 which is a cracking box, Coolstream is pretty new, but the plus point for many is it runs Neutrino.

I guess you are asking from a Satellite view?

can i just say that digital kaos forum sucks when it comes to replying 3 days and counting and no1 replied to my threads. i shouldve posted on here first, anyways i was offered a coolstream hd1 for £175 not sure if this was good deal but is it?anyways i think the deal has gone now so i will need to focus on a new box for a beginner in the sat community. ive been told to go for a linux based box with a 1m motorised dish. do you have any pointers?

it all depends on what your trying to do, basic freesat, HD , or an all singing and dancing HD, Mutlimedia box with a motorised dish

I have an AZbox Premium HD ( not recommended)

good points

ace media player plays all the file formats from an internal HDD
Compatible Plastic client (not to be discussed here)

Bad points

Shit slow at changing channel
not open source
EPG is shiter than Shite
not open source
I feel ripped off
Did I mention its not open source
was supposed to be twin tuner but isnt

1m Motorised Dish

If I had money and wanted an expensive Sat HD reciver that wasnt very good at playing media, but a great EPG and could record multiple channels at once whilst watching another I'd go for a VU+ Duo

a good basic box thats cheap is the dm500s,

Sorry, but this is a bit out of order, digital kaos is a cracking forum that we have a good relationship with (most of us are very active there too).

We don't like forum wars here and the DK admin is a top notch guy who helped us out when we started out who also doesn't do forum wars either.

Weather or not you get a reply on DK is not the issue, maybe down to whoever is online to see your posts, they are very busy forum compared to us.

But DK is a forum we enjoy a good relationship with whose admins and mods work hard to please.

Running a forum on the subjects we cover is not easy, believe me!

The selling point for Coolstream is that it runs Neutrino (like a dbox2) so you have to decide if you prefer Neutrino or Enigma first.
