Seems to me that it's getting more and more bloated as time goes on.
I downgraded back to 0.8.6. Interface in 0.9.x is too messy for my taste.

You can increase the volume in 0.8.x to 200% also, you just have to do it through the settings.

Jimmy Use the thanks button as it ust looks like you are post clocking and putting in useless comments to the threads when all you could off done was click a button

i've been using vlc 0.8.6c for quite a while and very pleased with it except for seting brightness hope the new version has made this abit more user friendly.
