Default New Videolan client (VLC)

a major step up for VideoLanClient also known as VLC.

The latest Version got uploaded yesterday and is now 0.9.2

You find the Windows Version here: http://www.videolan.org/mirror-geo.p....9.2-win32.exe

It now even supports DVB tuner's via BDA-Drivers



New designed User Interface and many more Codec's now supported out of the Box

I installed this yesterday but couldnt get it to work right
when playing an AVI from Dbox VLC needed restarting if you chose to play another AVI
also could not fast forward into an AVI as it just stopped playback
had to revert back to ver 0.8.6f

I've only used it to stream from my DM600S , and it seems to work fine, I'm interested in trying the video capture stuff though

YJogol is already working on YWeb as this does no longer work in this release

Copy it into /var/httpd or create Folder if not already there

followed your instructions but is still the same
maybe i'm doing something wrong ?

According to YJogol in the Tuxbox board the new VLC Version still causes issues and he is still trying to find another fix

iv tried this version seem to be having couple of probs so i installed my old version, ill try it out on xp see if its any better

i have never been able to get vlc working properly wonder if this owuld be any better
