Question Sportster2.00
Just looking @ this

(start.ide overhauled)
Does this image support the IDE Interface for Hard disk drives?
Have the Commando Image 9.25 @ the moment, and is a bit jumpy on
Some channels.
And like to try out another image with IDE/Hard Disk support

Thanks for any help

Most/All recent sportster images do support hard drives - however, alot of the config screens will be in german unless u can get a fully translated version.

Thank you for you're reply

I think I tried out an old sportster image before and did not support IDE
(I think it did need a update/upgrade.......thru sportster website but it never updated for me)
The commando 9.25 was the only image I got working with
IDE Hard disk.

I give this sportster 2.00 RC001 a try maybe more luck this time
Any idea how old the 2.00 RC001 version is?

Thanks

Shamrock.

Sportser 2.00 is relativley new, I was looking at UK modding it, but got busy with other stuff, but now unfortunatley the CVS server is down so cant get on with that project, so maybe I'll have another look at it

There is also a RC002 update for it on their website

It can be downloaded from within Sportster but VAR must be Updated before ROOT !

My images have basic IDE support included in the build, there is no IDE menu but init_hdd.sh is available in /sbin
