Lol Thank fook for that thought I was losing it

I notice this way of fast scanning is being touted on a few forums as a new feature but i have been doing this for years just presumed everybody knew

agreed I was doing scanning this from day one of getting my dm600, could cope with the long scan in gay enigma

To be honest m8 i stumbled across it by accident was scanning for missing channels and just kept playing with the settings

Didnt want to post my findings to the more experienced people and make myself look foolish

It's a long time since I used Enigma, but that's how I always scanned

I just deleted cables.xml and rebooted. Did another scan using this method and, perfect! Just over 3 minutes and it found everything. How cool is that?

The latest dk-01 had a modified cables.xml for this although it doesn't work in my area
(telepest). Cryo did something similar with his last dreambox release but once again never seemed to work in TW areas

Using the manual scan in enigma always worked for me so long as the inv and network scan were ticked.
