Angry CIFS addon

Hi Guys. I am running a dbox2 with the Commando 11.3.10.
I would like to mount a drive to stream movies from my pc, but i can't change the NFS to CIFS because the NFS line is greyed out, it just skips the line and jumps to the ip address line.
I have downloaded the add-on pack and manually added the CFIS and although it shows as installing it still does not let me change to CIFS, it also doesn't show in the uninstall add ons menu so something is up.
I also tried installing it from the download and install section, but once again it says installing but nothing changes. In fact nothing i try to add installs, games, icons ect
Any ideas?

It rather sounds like your image has gone 'read-only', m8. Either reflash with your most recent backup, or treat this as a sign from the Gods- and go for the latest Commando 12, LOL!

C12 will need an easy Manual or Online Update to bring it bang up to date with rev C12.1.2 don't forget.

Cheers- AL

if the gods are still not smiling on you after trying to get it to work in C11.3.10 or C12.1.2 first, then the ultraphat apocalypse image has cifs and streaming built in.

A few? Jeez- you can lead a horse to water, but you can't force it to drink...

The only trouble with UltraPhat, is that it lacks a few tasty features that the UltraPhat creator helped put together (or rather, created) for Commando 12, LOL!

It's a two horse race, plus the dark storm clouds are steadily building up. No time to waste- get it working in UltraPhat, then see if you replicate the same in C12. Good learning curve...
