I finally got round to loading this onto the Kids Dbox - a 1x Sagem thats been out of use for some time. First off it works well on an upgrade from Sportster 1.4 !!!
One initial problem was that the box refused to accept a manual input of IP address so I had to force one via DHCP and a pre assigned address via the router. I transfered services and bouquets and other bits and bobs from the main box and all worked well instantly - I love the channel logo's. All channels were clear and switching between them was quick. On a couple of occasions I had vertical green bars on the screen- these cleared with a channel change - might be the TV though - all in all I love the imgage as do the kids.

The green lines r not ur telly m8.
I had that regularly with an old img (not sure which one) on a Nokia, channel change used to fix it too!. Been using Lincsat (fullish) & Commando 10c recently, never had the 'green stripes' (yet) with these. K |

I used to get the green stripes with an old sportster image but they disappeared after a bit of update after some previous issues that happen from time to time!
C10d is top notch though, the channel icons are a great feature IMO. I have tended to prefer the older, more basic images but this one I do really like. So many neat features and attention to minor detail. Even watching the screen on boot up is fun! |

Irrespective of Image being tested, I sometimes see the dreaded green vertical stripes, but zapping to FTA then back usually clears it for good. I've noticed a pattern emerging on this, though- it's usually straight after a reflash. Once cleared, it's gone for good. Well, until the next reflash, that is, LOL!
My theory: It's the aVia and video drivers settling in and optimizing themselves. Nowt to worry about, really. In the bad old days, it could be a right old pain in the arse, with ruined recordings etc. Cheers- AL

ive always assumed that the green screen that sometimes shows was part of a RGB test pattern for avia automatic calibration. once avia is calibrated then the test pattern goes. never had a Red or Blue test screen though.
