BTW, the last paragraph on page 1 of the pdf says "scan manu". ^_^ lol

another deliberate mistake, just to let people know it was written with a 12 noon deadline to beat, by a fallible human being...

I think it best, with less than 8 hours elapsed since release, Renny, if we treat today's exercise as a dress rehearsal, and go for the real thing tomorrow on here? (I've already tarted up the little bollox dropped so far and reported in here).

Then a global issue midweek, if no more issues reported?

Teesside is in there you knob- look under North Yorkshire, m8! And if you disagree about being North Yorkshire, you'll have to produce all your evidence in triplicate to LraiZer, ready for a Public Enquiry scheduled for October 2010...

Thumbs up Commando 11.3 Feedback
Have been using C11 and have got to say you have raised the bar again with 11.3. Online addon's are a fantastic addition allowing the user to tailor their image to their own needs, hats off to you fella's

Using a Sagem 2x and image loaded 1st time no issues, tested set location and scan again no issues(Bradford,west yorks). I have an internal HDD fitted so installed the required addon's via the online install option and (no surprise) this worked perfectly.

I can confirm that my hdd was detected and formatted using xfs without issue, both partition and temp info are displayed when requested. I can also confirm that while recording to the internal drive playback of the channel continues( I would get a black screen in C11). Will test the ext2 file format over the next few days.
My thanks to all involved in the making of this image, If it is to be the last...What a way to go out

Wow! This is FANTASTIC news, thanks! Hurry up with the EXT2 report please! And if anyone can tell us how the Automount - CIFS - NFS and SMBFS Add-Ons perform, we'd love to know, thanks!

AL

epgfilter.xml/icons
i dont have ITV1, i have ITV and its not in the default epg filter and so is nownext only by default. not sure this is right for a major fta channel?

You should be seeing the channel icon when tuned to ITV as this has been symlinked from ITV1.raw

For long epg on ITV, just edit this line in epgfilter.xml
Code:
<channel name="FX"/>
<channel name="G.O.L.D."/>
<channel name="ITV1"/>
<channel name="ITV2"/>
<channel name="ITV3"/>
<channel name="ITV4"/>
<channel name="LIVING"/>
so it becomes <channel name="ITV"/>

Sorry, but a little localized tweaking of the filter file has always been expected of people, for two reasons:

1) To account for regional differences in channel names (as in your example)

2) The default choice of 'prime' channels in the list is subjective; others might prefer a different selection completely! (Just keep it under 80 total, though; ie- if you add a new line, try and find another line you can do without, and delete it)

Cheers- AL

Glasgow 1,smls 00002 755000 6887
is incorrect should be
Glasgow 1,smls 00002 587000 6887

Keep them coming please, lads! Rest assured that all these edits are going straight into shellexec.conf - where the SML tables reside... AL
