install yweb addon and under
Settings
Bouquet-Editor
move your channels around.

or simply use the Bouquet-Editor in dbox services

or download solent area service files discard service files upload bouquets rescan with the settings set to update. should work.

quickest way is yweb........

you have my normal guarantee :- if it breaks in half : you get 2 bits!!!!!

Happily running 11.3.11, online update <latest version>.

Worked perfectly till a couple of days ago - suddenly had Sky1 etc (which I've never had before, even tho SKy and VM buried the hatchet), and I now seem to have all the Regional versions of the Stations (BBC1 South, STV, etc etc) - rather than the Vmedia Bouquets I had till then.

Are VM up to something, I notice a few other channel changes etc?

ALso - on the "Set Area for Fast Scan" etc - I have multiple "Huddersfield" options for the different "signals" - how do I confirm which of these I should use?

Main goal - how can I get back to the "Vmedia bouqets" as per the Scan settings? Perhaps I could delete the bouqet files, and scan it all again? (I have done multiple full, brute force scans since - but doesnt seem to "fix" the Bouquets?").

Thanks in advance...
Just rescan with VM Bow ks selected
Back up wot you got first just in case ..................Paul

Question Update privacy?
Hi guys,

Great build. I finally upgraded to 11.3 after running 10 for what seems like forever. Its clear the time in between has been put to good purpose!

A quick question. When my dbox requests new updates and addons etc, what efforts are made to secure the privacy of this traffic?

I may not want my internet provider knowing exactly what content is being downloaded to my dbox, particularly if my provider also delivered my cable TV service and I didn't want them to know what hardware I was using.

Are these connections SSL'd?

Any thoughts?

Cheers

Update files are in the form a linux-compiled compressed tarball: update.tar.bz2

This contains all the updated files (including all the files from earlier updates, so that you can jump onto the update ladder at any time, even if you missed one or more). The files are all properly foldered, and even have their correct chmod attributes already set.

Your dbox2, if connected to the web, downloads this file to the /tmp folder, from which point the whole updating process is automated for you. The download process is carried out by scripts already existing in the image, direct from our site to your dbox.

Your dbox does not have any form of 'talkback', so is invisible on the system.

So, if you're wearing your 'paranoia' hat, I think more suspicions would be raised by the fact that you've downloaded a dbox2 image to your PC in the first place, LMAO!

Remember that the content of the original images hosted on here, AND any updates, are all legal- they do NOT contain anything that allows more than FTA viewing.

Hurry up and make a few more constructive posts- as you should really be on Commando 12 !!

Cheers- AL
