I've locked your actual LHC2 Image thread to avoid 'parallel lines' now that you've opened this Feedback thread, DM.
But if you need to go back into it to edit anything, and find you can't access it- PM one of us please. Cheers- AL

1st up cheers for thisDark Matter, before I flash this, was wondering if your 2 Day EPG is compatible to viewers in Rep. Ireland?
Have you had any feedback from anyone from here? Or does it not matter as it's only loading 2days instead of the 11.3, UK usual 7 day EPG? As well as the Service Scan, shows scan all transponders, am wondering is there any difference with the old Bruteforece, does this scan more or less or just the same Transponders? Looks great, though will be happy to test it in a couple of days when I get a chance. But, definately this week. Good work ad cheers m8. |

Nice fast image and a welcome return to stability after Commando 11.3 kept freezing on my x2 nokia.
One feature from the Commando image I do miss is the graphic in the bouquets that shows you how long the program's been on for, but as a testament to the power of reading, post 65 in the "New laky-sylas FTA image" thread has shown me how to switch that on. Hopefully the imge will remain stable as I really like that feature. Other than that, nice sharp picture quality, clean LCD, fast channel switching. Keep up the good work! |

Note down all the settings you see in Settings > Driver & Boot Options in LHC2, then see if these are matched in C11.3??
Also- have you upgraded 11.3 to the latest 11.3.10 (2009-11-25) version? Cheers- AL

To PaphosAL, I didn't do any sort of troubleshooting on the Commando 11.3 image to be honest apart from (from memory) reducing the epg day to 2 and setting it to short. When that didn't work for a couple of days (the box still froze needing a power cycle), I went back to the "Lincsat Beta 7.25-Full" image that my box came with, moving to LHC2 when I saw it.
I did just put my backup of the Commando 11.3 image back on my box and there are differences in the driver and boot options between the two images: No FastZap of Http(yweb) options in Commando image. Set on and off respectively in LHC2. Use spts mode, Boot Mp3, Automount, Use hardware sections, FullDuplex Mode all set to off on both. Expert! Boot-Console set to null on both. Enable AVIA watchdog on on Commando, off on LHC2. Enable eNX watchdog off on Commando, greyed out on LHC2. Phillips/Sagem RC workaround off on Commando, greyed out on LHC2. Enable pmt update off on Commando, on on LHC2. No I didn't upgrade the latest Commando 11.3.10 as I was happy with LHC2, more so now that I have programme progress in the bouquets now. Nothing against yourself or anyone else involved with the making of and development of Commando. Is your recommendation that the settings match those of LHC2 (after upgrading to Commando 11.3.10 of course!)? To mods, if this post is not appropriate for this thread, please move it to the appropriate area. Cheers, red! |

Yes- after you've carried out the manual Upgrade to C!!.3.10 (via FTP the Telnet- read the instructions carefully!!)- mirror the same settings in Commando as you currently see in LHC2 Driver & Boot Options. Including the two 'greyed-out' items you mention- which will still show an On or Off setting!
Then after a reboot- see if you have stability!! ![]() Even better, wait until this time tomorrow- when revision 11.3.11 is finally released, after a month of intensive development and testing (with the kind help of LraiZer and FreddyFr0g behind the scenes). And remember that DM's LHC2 was compiled using Renny's C11.3 diffs
