Default Virgin+ 3.0 lzma ultraLite

We're particularly interested to see if anyone can get Streaming to work, now that Add-Ons support for this has been included (at the very last minute)!!

TuxText plugin has now been removed - as VM have shifted the videotext service over to Interactive on the red button. If you MUST have teletext, just watch this on your subbed VM box in future please.

Cheers- AL and Renny

Manual Update to version 3.0.1 - 01 March 2010

Fixes:

1) New zapit by Cydine and LraiZer; Fast or BruteForce Scan with VM-style Bouquets now fully compatible with the new Channel Map being introduced UK-wide. (Still works correctly in areas not updated yet, don't worry).

2) Revised cables.xml to grab some missing pr0n channels. (thanks to AlcoholJunkie for the heads-up on this issue)

Instructions- the simplest EVER, included in a readme. This manual update is for you guys who cannot, or will not, connect your V+ 3.0 dbox to the web. For those who have- just click on 'Online Updates' in the System Menus, and hit the red button!

The updates are compatible for both 1x and 2x boxes. But they are for Virgin+ 3.0 only, and NOT for peeps still running Virgin+ 2.1 or earlier!! Reflash with Virgin+ 3.0 please, then update...

Hi AL and Renny,

flashed and running no prob, tried using wingrab and yweb to stream but to no avail, but i am no expert! I also flashed lakypro, to copy setting etc but these settings would not get the box to stream either. The same error code from wingrab "target machine actively refused it" , and blank screen via yweb. as C11.3.11 and C12.1. sorry can not be any more help. But if any one posts settings to change I will try and come back.

Yesterday morning on Renny's penultimate pilot build of the night before, and again this morning on the final release build he compiled at quarter to eight last night, and again just now (as you had me worried), where my 16k/17k S&Bs have just grown to 26k/28k respectively. And cydine's VM Bouquet ordering still works fine...

After releasing C12 on here last Friday 29th Jan, then on half dozen other boards Sunday 31st Jan, then finding out later on Sunday that BF Scan was u/s, we didn't want history repeating itself twice in one week on the same issue, m8!

Are you intimating that BF won't work for you?

Cheers- AL

No need to persume, presume, or assume anything, m8. Which bit of this line in the image release notes led you to have to make such assumptions?

As usual, FTA-only, no cams, keys, roms, services included.

We've also told you about the things that've been axed from C12 in order to create this skinny image. So just about everything else you'll find in C12 is also present in V+ 3.0 !!

But did you add the experimental Streaming support Add-on, online or manually (it's in the Add-Ons pack included)?

Cheers- AL

Wingrab and yweb control the dbox no prob but the box does not start the streaming process. Tried to record to pc again no luck. please note I am not a novice but still not an expert! so dont mind self-training but my results my be flawed!

hope this helps cheers guys..

P.S. Brute force works fine.
