Looks like you struck lucky there, AJ. Just peeped at a recent BFS services file here in 00005 Pure, and both my working default Frequencies- 643000 and 755000 are buried way down the pecking order...
Cheers- AL

for fun there's no harm in trying the other freqs in services.xml too as a failure only takes 3 secs, you may get more than 33 transponders on another as i get 35 on mine. my default freq in tw area changed a short while back too but that is now fixed in sml.

username: root
password: dbox2 it does not have a static ip set as default. your network will be scanned and your personal ip settings will be auto detected and set at bootup. your personal network ip settings will be displayed on the startup screen. just make a note of the network ip displayed on the startup screen OR you can press "show active network settings" from the network menu. if you want to setup a static network ip on the box instead of using the dhcp autodetect, you will need to turn off dhcp and enter your personal network settings manualy dbox > settings > network > dhcp > off |

LraiZer- is this a new default CVS feature, or another example of your magical scripting / coding?
Cheers- AL

it was all in cvs at the time ultraphat was created, network autoscan and detect. in ultraphat look at the /etc/network/interfaces file i have edited to be release default compared to your release interfaces file, also look i have running the udhcpc, and have a look at the /etc/resolv.conf as this is the personal bootup generated network search file.

DBOX2 (x2) for northats area...(new service files posted in services section)
Had a few problems with other images losing channels/not picking up most of the channels in the commando 12 image etc etc...but must say this image worked a treat and picking up all channels after the first scan...(still took approx 30mins fore a full scan on brute) Image is pretty cool, but with a minor issue, nothing major...cheers for the image..... Sometimes seems to drop the connection, after setting DHCP to Manual and connecting..works fine once connected but when rebooted you have to maunally restart the network services from time o time to be able to connect back to the dbox...... Cheers+Much appreciated! |
