LraiZer- there appears to be a cvs bug with sectionsd in this fine Image, m8.

AutoScan in (w/o msgs) on mode doesn't work. To all intents and purposes, it's behaviour in this mode is the same as if the feature is off

ok i got this testin on me box,and i noticed the fast scan via the freq,net id
after settin my location didnt work only brute force,also i like the epg via yello button,cant test it for ide drive cos i dont have one,i tested the yweb and i can
see the bouquets and programs but cannot get a pitcher (might be my vlc),and i can send messages to the box from yweb,will put other stuff in to test the movies
and sports channels will report back after

fastscan working fine every single time for me, is anyone else having this issue or this isolated to Magnu420 only?

tested with vlc 0.8.5 and steaming is working fine for me via yWeb, yWeb popup and vlc player, can only think you have the latest videolan vlc version and it may not compatible. anyone else having this issue?

Fastscan working every time for me aswell no problem, but same as Al on the background scan.

ok i had 0.8.6 vlc gone back to 0.8.5 and i got the os display also took a few screen shots about the cpu,memory etc dont know if this be relevent to you but who knows

ok tried the fast scan still didnt work,it starts then about 3 seconds later
no service found please execute a scan ?????? seems strange why others
reportin it works and it dont for me,input the net id(41048),freq(666750),sym rate(6952) manual still no joy but the brute force works
btw in ex c/w

if nobody else can report this issue, i can only think your default freq may have recently changed. do those settings still work on other image fast scans? maybe its just something as simple as corrupt settings in a bad flash? your default freq should be one of the transponder freqs in your services.xml after a bruteforce scan. mabye try those one by one to see if they get past your 3 sec scan failure?

ok i did a brute force scan,then looked at the service .xml and saw that
freq started at 459000 with sym rate 6952,so i entered 459000 into the freq
on the fast scan menu and hit scan bingo 33 transponders found (forgot how many channels lol),and the scan took about 2.21 seconds (2 min 21 secs),also
i noticed i only got my regional programes compaired with the brute force scan
gettin like 4 bbc1 same with itv,ch4

burnley,lancs ex c/w
net id 41048
freq 666750 (old freq)
freq 459000 (new freq)
sym rate 6952

When Leeds area "changed" last year, I noted SML scan didn't work with Neutrino, only brute force worked.

I guess some ex-cw areas have changed default freqs.
