What's new?

IDE-HDD now running sweet-as! Test feedback from our resident Chief Tester, LraiZer:

it detects, mounts, records and plays my pre-formated xfs ide-hdd fine now, thanks!

changed settings to Filesystem EXT2 and used HDD Initalise to reformat to ext2.
this detects, mounts, records and plays the re-formatted ext2 ide-hdd fine.

changed settings back to Filesystem XFS and used HDD Initalise to reformat back to xfs.
this detects, mounts, records and plays the reformatted xfs ide-hdd fine.

Infobar EPG bug sorted! Virtual Zap is now set to ON by default, so when you left or right arrow key to see what's on adjacent channels, you can now arrow down again, to see what's on later, instead of getting the dreaded EPG not loaded... error. Was a bug in the cvs; now fixed.

Features Menu (Blue button)- Softcam menu now has dbox button assigned to it, instead of Red button. Se we don't now get two menu items each with a Red button, if you have Recording activated (which it is now). Turn Recording OFF in Settings, if you don't want this to appear in Features menu.

Ooh! The cvs fix for the Infobar also appears to have fixed another recent quirk.

dbox > Settings > Misc > Infobar > subchannel display

There are 5 toggles for this; the 4 corners of the screen, or the Infobar itself. But no matter which one you chose and saved, the L / R buttons always just brought the Infobar up.

It's now working as it should do! I've got my little Audio box 0/1-English back in the top right corner. Woooo!

BTW- default IP Address is now 192.168.0.3
and yes, Network start at bootup is now ON
and DHCP is now OFF by default, I noticed!

Al,

Is there something you could check out ?

I cant seem to set up "new" settings in keybinding ....i like my bouquet and channel up down options the other way round than as is the normal default settings. !!

However, when you are asked to set up a new key the option flashes on and off the screen more or less instantly, and you cant set an alternative key

Maybe something happened when trying to fix the recording screen options on the red button??

You're right, m8. Looks like another cvs bug to me. But a man of your calibre will be able to customize r/c keys easy enough in neutrino.conf !!

another little issue i cant seem to move the curser when im in bouquet editor can navigate till i try to add channels to bouquet but cant move up or down in the service menu has anybody else tried this yet.

image looks good, need to extract my old cams from the previous image somehow.

Just one bug which I have noticed, if you select record and do not have the path setup then the message recording was aborted comes up on the screen and there is nothing you can do to remove it. A hard reset is the only way I can see to resolve this.

I've just reboot my box after the issue posted above and now I get Klin system, and no picture. Needless to say I'm finding this image not good.

Is there a link to how to resolve the issue of kline system?

thanks for pointing me in the right direction......looked at neutrino.conf in my backup C10 image and replicated the settings in that of 10b...

hey presto...back how i like it
