What's new?

Lets's have a closer look at that last one...

Notice the addition of the Red button to Save settings

Also notice a new item at the bottom-

Show Unsorted Bouquet? Yes / No

- a lot of brains went into bringing this innocuous looking item into menu form, Cydine, Speedy, LraiZer etc. It works instantly- 'on the fly', and should prove to be a valuable feature for lots of Commando users, if you think about it...

The boring bumpth:

As usual, it's FTA- so no softcams, roms, nor keys are in this image; you know the rules, and should know the routine by now!

User is root and password is commando for Telnet and FTP access, as always.

No credits here in the Release Notes- they're all in the Image now!

LraiZer's IDE-HDD TIPS you can try for a hdd recording setup:

1) Set recording settings to: write synchronous (O_SYNC) on

2) Change ucode from 001A (default) to 0014 or Built-in

3) Turn off wabberqueue buffer in movie player

Ok guys what can I say solid Commando image as usual running very stable no surprise there,
Really like the item descriptons in the various menu's and the Hall of Fame is cool,
The new zapit config menu is a great touch too.

Will give it a good test drive over the next few days but so far its the mutts nuts

been trying to break this image for a couple of hours now, and i and cant! good work guys. initial impression of the image is that i cant find anything i want to modify to make it better which is a first for me

just two minor mods i would personally have liked to have seen :-

1) keymapping changes

R/C Key mapping Setup
Channellist
pageup vol.dec > pageup vol.inc
pagedown vol.inc > pageup vol.dec

2) an added HELP menu popup on IDE-HDD Setup

with a few TIPS to try for a hdd recording setup ie.

Some very nice improvements,you can tell the menus have been messed about with and made more user friendly for noobs.The infobar now and next with the left and right buttons seems to have changed and is a bit of a ball ache.Before it was quick to view the epg on other channels ,now it alters the audio aswell as the green button does (correct me if ive missed something) and you have to hit another button to bring up the infobar, before scrolling left or right.The c10 images so far, the scrolling up and down and through bouquets always seem to be stuttery i.e slow to flick through, and when you take your finger of the button it keeps moving a few more channels up or down if you know what i mean.both my nokia 2x do this ,but dont do it on laky sylas.Im gonna keep this on and see how it goes.Ive had some problems with channels not clearing on previous versions and the before mentioned channel list probs.Great work guys,everybody appreciates new images,improvements and hard work that goes into these, I couldnt wait to get the other half off the telly to get this on tonight.

PS i like the new lcd screen layout,much better !

you can hit the help? button on your remote to bring up the infobar before scrolling left and right to move through channel infos or you can try changing the following settings to your suit your needs.

try this..

change setting to in infobar

Cheers LraiZer, Ive never messed about in that department before but it worked a treat.I was hitting the help button to do it but the writings worn off so i didnt know what button it was !

Looks damn good to me. I like the new user friendly menus. I was a little stumped by the infobar thing to start with but thats sorted now. I don't know if its me, but it seems a little quicker to boot than 10c. The only fault I can find so far is the LCD-EPG doesn't update when it should do. But this is on all new images.
