Default how do i watch movies saved on my pc via dbox2?

tried the PT-1, tried googling, still stuck no joy... any help?

it should be just a case of installing vlc and pointing to the pc running it in the menus .

i know before we used to have to add some files in vlc but im sure it works outta the box now with newer versions of vlc.

i had to use an older version of vlc,0.8.6 i think the one with
the active x plug in,and set it to where my films was stored on the pc

I've still got all the files etc needed to patch older versions up.
If they are still neded, let me know and I'll upload them.

I should have some time over the next week or so, and so I'll get to grips with the newer VLC's and update the guide accordingly if there are any changes required.
