Default Testers required for a New image, APPLY WITHIN

Yes, another new image.

I/we require a small group of testers who are able to flash a new image being worked on by a new dev team. Those interested will not have to tinker with their boxes during the christmas period but will be required to extensively test the image in the new year (estimated approx 3rd January 2009).

In particular we are interested in:

- Anyone wanting to use an External Hard Drive or NAS Unit
- People who have the IDE kit
- Anyone or anything that can help reduce the overall size of the image

We are almost ready to release a BETA version for initial testing (no leaks please, we'd like it to be a surprise to all) but need to iron out a few bugs in new menus that have been added.

Obviously once the full image has been released and all (new) features have been exposed the source code will be posted for others to use in their own images.

Any takers please?

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: able to flash box confidently with FTP and IFA (things are bound to go wrong!), and have a good understanding of the neutrino GUI (from an end-user point of view - we do not expect everyone to be developers).

Willing to do testing for you Speedy, but would only be menus, settings, stability etc. as dont have hard drive for box, bit limited i know but have quite a bit of free time lately so here if you need me.

Oh and no chance of it being leaked.

I'll help out with testing if you need.

Many thanks for the offers so far.
Just as a teaser we have successfully compiled and fully tested the following feature. Diffs have been made already for this feature however they will not be released until after our team have released the full image to the public - hey, we gotta have something new! :P

See screenshots attached.

This is a kind of FTP alternative, and does not require any extra software on the Windows computer. Its kinda random but if you have an Internal HDD kit then you can share that across the network and turn your DBOX into a NAS server.

Keep the offers of testing coming!

I'll give it a test for you M8 - I don't use IDE but do mount folders from the PC on the box for recording/playback.
