Default uCodes & g**x

Hi all,

After reading PT-1's bible I've realised that when I received my dbox around 4 years ago, I didn't backup the ucodes from the original betanova image.

I've found a source for ucodes and noted the details in PT-1's bible stating that they must tie up with the firmware of your chips? Can anyone explain the revision types and their relevance? I'm wondering if normal 'latest version is best' rules apply here...?

Also, as a Sagem owner, I'm wondering about gb*x. This is not something I'd heard of until recently but am aware that it apparently works well with sagem. I've noted comments relating to it and 'k*y copy' however I'm not 100% on this. i'm trying my best not to sound freighteningly new...

My Helpfile covers all area's and therefore cannot explain to a user that they can just use google in case they are stuck with the Ucodes etc. as these are copyrighted software.

Most Images that are available for download already have Ucodes built in and you can just experiment.

G**x does no longer autoupdate and the author is unknown so there will be no update.

It was the most stable and less resource hungry EMU out there but if you would like to use it you would have to run another emu parallel for the autodecoding.

the thread is ok ive edited it and pt-1 has answered . no harm done m8 .
dont mean to come down harsh but there are plenty of other forums that deal with your non fta issues . a good one might be www.digital-kaos.co.uk or www.w****-o*-d******.com .

but as for the ucodes they will already normally be in an image.
team commando image is good and its here for download

to ukcvs m8 ....
