Default LCD-EPG problem

It might be me barking up the wrong tree, but in the last few images I've tried, including Gav's Laky-Sylas and commando 10b and c, the current programme info doesn't update when it should. If you press left or right it goes to the correct info. I've noticed it seems to happon most often in commando 10c. Could it be something to do with the new sectionds? I've tried different views to try and rule that out, but still the same.

sectionsd does it's 'housekeeping' every 1800 seconds, half hour. Removes 'old' epg and appends new (under certain conditions). The rest of the time, it's fast asleep, and only wakes up if you switch channels.

It's likely that the epg behaviour you're seeing is during the housekeeping phase, when it's busy. Only my theory- maybe FreddyFrog can enlighten us more?

Cheers- AL

Same issue here with Commando 10c, it never updates the program description (even after hours) unless the channel is changed.

Didn't have any problems on the Laky-Sylas image though.

I've noticed the same and have posted before - the sectionsd doesn't seem to update until the channel is changed

My lcd will update even if you don't change channel. All you have to do press left or right to show the virtual zap
