when doing a scan, what settings..

aryt guys, just double checking here so i dont have to open up ftp and put my bouquets back in, may also benefit people who want to do a simple scan without messing with ftp etc..

what settings do i put them on so it doesnt delete my channels i currently have and overwrite?

its just ive done it in the past and i dont fancy messing it up and playing with the FTP tonight as too tierd....

this is the options i get on "Lacky-Sylas" :

Scan for services: all services
Bouquet: - Leave Current / Update / Satellite-Bouquet / Erase All / Create New
Cable Provider: Virgin Media
Scan Mode: Complete

Sections Scan: Off
---------------------------
which one should i put bouquet on, update or leave current?

i just want to update my channels that have gone off and find any new ones.. ive had it on the correct setting before and written it down but i lost the peice of paper, this time im going to put it on a notepad with the rest of my files lolol..

at a quick guess its leave current or update.. but like i said dont wanna mess with the dbox tonight.. anyone?

try this to start with...

set Bouquet: - Leave Current

do a service scan at 6:05 pm when all channels are broadcasting

Do as its say leave current will leave the bouquets you have or update which will do the same if your lossing channels thats because they have changed frequencies do the scan then goto dbox services bouquet editor and then add the ones you want and delete the one that have no service
