Dbox2 Premiere Remote Codes

thanks AL, before i begin, my "Premiere" remote works my dbox, it has 2 buttons at the bottom.

"l" and "ll"

both dont light up the remote LED at the top when i press them.

so im wondering if i set it up for my TV it will wipe the settings for the dbox, will it work both? (with the "l" and "ll") at the bottom of it, if so, why isnt the LED blinking, thanks again!!

That's the larger Premiere R/C, which I've never seen- mine is the little dinky model. I know that LraiZer uses your model, and holds it in high esteem- so hopefully, he (or someone else) might stop past and advise you.

very much doubt youll get a PREMIERE PRC-2 to operate a tv, as this slim and sleek little number is not a big brick universal remote!

TV and Radio buttons on this remote are for toggling software options on box only.

Pressing any normal button on remote should light up either the i or ii LED in top left corner depending on which box type the remote is setup for, either an old dbox1 or a dbox2.

SPECIAL INFO

hold down the i button in bottom left corner and THEN hold down OK button...wait a few seconds and the i LED will flash twice. your remote is now setup to control an old dbox.

hold down the ii button in bottom right corner and THEN hold down OK button...wait a few seconds and the ii LED will flash twice. your remote is now setup to control a newer dbox2.

Someone PM'd me asking for the Premiere R/C code for AOC television. Sadly, it's not listed. Which is strange, coz when you google to the AOC website, they appear to be BIG in Germany...

Anyway, I think I've found a Code Search routine in the German instructions:

1. TV on
2. Press Setup key
3. Press 9 9 1 keys in succession
4. Press the (') on/off key
5. Now keep pressing the CH+ (Up arrow key) until Channel changes
6. Press Setup key to save the code it's found

I don't see any routine for finding out WHAT the code is, so I guess you'd have to repeat this little lot at R/C battery change time.
