Dbox stuck, display shows loading kernal, help appreciated.

Sounds like it needs to be reflashed mate.Get yourself a crossover cable,a null modem cale,image flashing assistant and an image.Have a read round at the tutorials about the method involved to do this and if your stuck come back and ask questions and we can help.Hope this helps....

I would refrain from asking for futher help untill you have read the answer already given, then have a search and read.

Look HERE for info on how to flash a new image then go for it.

Looks like its time to reflash your box then mate.Better start reading around as your box is'nt going to start up.

Flashing your dbox2 with ifa and ftp (high quality)

I would start here as this is a very good explanation.Ignore the ftp method as you need to have a working box to do it that way.Remember to ask if you get stuck with anything,but please remember to read around and read around again as this is the only way to learn.Most people dont like going over the same things over and over again everytime somebody new joins, with the same problems.

Portable IFA + crossover cable only...............three minutes and you'll be cooking on gas mate.......
