new Eden channel

Eden is the new name for UKTV Documentary as of now. It's just a re-name required in your services.xml file, you don't need to Scan for it!

Here's the new Channel Logos for it. The RAW file is for neutrino images, and the PNG file is for SS-Enigma v4 users. The old UKTV Documentary icons are now obsolete, so may be deleted.

Here's the 256 colour 100x60px PNG Enigma version of the icon I'm using for the new Blighty channel. OK, it's different to theirs- but I think it looks better...

Change it to a 16 colour palette in your favourite Image Editing program (like PSP7 for example), then copy and paste into RawIconEditor using an empty 100x60 box to start with, which you set with 'Datei > Neu'. Paste is done with 'Bearbeiten > Einfügen' by the way.

Change the bottom right colour box to a colour that is not used in the image, ie: Bright Yellow - as that colour represents Transparent Color (something we definately don't want in these icons!)

Then 'Datei > Speichern unter' (File > Save As) Blighty.raw

Give it a try- you'll soon get the hang of it! I could just as easily have attached the neutrino version- but this is an Educational site, so let's revise what we've just learned in German as well:

Datei = File
Neu = New
Speichern unter = Save As
Bearbeiten = Edit
Einfügen = Paste

I can't get a working .raw image, could I be using the wrong version of RawIconEdditor, I've tried 1.5 and 1.8.2. I get an image that is 3,005 bytes big (seems too big), then just displays a blank icon on the bar.

I know this should be simple, I'm obviously doing something wrong here - probably not the best thing to be trying with a head like mine
