Hi
I have a Sagem 1x dbox to which I have flashed Lincsat.Beta7.25-Full. The image is smooth and works very well, but I have a problem in the form of streaming the output to my pc. My setup has the dbox connected to a wireless bridge which then relays the signal over my wireless network. Control of the dbox is through the yweb interface. This allows me to watch my dbox in my room even though the box is located in another part of my house. However since flashing with this image I find that when I run WMP, rather then the stream picking up I get this message instead "The network address could not be used for the operation requested." I previously had the Sportster 1.73 image and bitcontrol 2.0 on my pc. This configuration worked fine other than Sportster being flaky and prone to freezes, partly the reason I like this newer image so much. But after going through the various menus I cant seem to find the source of the problem. I'm guessing that it may be a feature that has been dropped since the days of sporster, but it is one I found hugely useful. I have tried the alternative combination of WingrabTv and Vlc but I find the quality of the stream to be somewhat bitty and not to the same standard of stream as that produced by bitcontrol. Any assistance would be greatly appreaciated. |

With regards to wingrabTV, i'm just finding the process a bit clumsy as you have to run wingrabtv then load VLC and then finally type the address to stream. Bitcontrol with wmp is a much smoother process, I just double click a link and hey its streaming. Btw after running wingrabtv the first time, I no longer see any settings pages, and i'm finding the stream a bit stuttery. Is there any way to adjust the performance? Thanks for your time and help.
