Try putting the cable from wall straight into your dbox without going through any splitters, if the chirping stops you may need a booster.

Rss noise from Dbox?
Hi can you explain better as I could say I've got a noise in my car? it could be any thing so I will ask you some technical questions? Is the noise a mechanical noise actually coming from the box or is it signal related to find out leave the box on and remove the scart lead that way you can tell its on the signal path or it a noise coming from the box? If its coming from the box you almost certainly have a faulty power supply and you need the caps replaced in the power supply So before you ask say what type of noise it is and were its coming from the TV or the DBOX?
