If it has x2 or 2x in the name it should be a 2 chip image, can you point out which one you tried so we can check if it is named incorrectlly?

Moved your post here as you posted in the image download section.

Ok, just checked, V4 SS-Enigma has 2x in the title.

V3 has 2I in the title (ok I should have called it 2x, called it 2I for 2 Intel chips, but same thing.

Dreambox images are not chip specific (There is a Dreambox 500 Enigma image I did) but obviously no good for Dbox2's.

I'm sure we will have you as an expert pretty quick videoman, then I can badger you for TV/video and Switch mode service manuals....lol.

Get to know your hardware first, look through the vents or whip the lid off and see exactlly how many flash chips it has.

Have a good look at this first http://www.dbox2.ukcvs.org/

There are no known "Kein" problems with commando 10, but go for the latest release "Commando 10-d"

With Enigma, check in expert setup the network settings, sometimes routers don't like different images with different IP's changing so quick after flashing. Try rebooting your router!
