SS-Enigma V3 image?

Yes hi I down loaded the SS-Enigma V3 image which seems farmillier how ever when I try to FTP it I can not connect to the Dbox? Using the IP given in the box The FTP says unable to connect any ideas people?

As far as I can remember your IP should be set to 1 below what the box tells you in network settings are, so if the box says-

IP Address - 192.168.0.123

Then You should set your IP address on your computer to 192.168.0.122.
(conversely change the address on the box to one above!)

Make sure your username and password are correct for whatever image you are using. And if all that fails just use Hallenberg instead of FlashFXP to flash an image you know you can use.

Hi Yes I realizes that the DBOX should be one number different But in my case I can not connect to the Dbox via a router which worked fine till I started to try and put things in the K**S section and them I tried to ping the Dbox and I do not get a reply just "unable to connect so I trying other ways I have successfully inputted other DBOX using the same process but seems not to work on this Dbox I also have tried a crossover cable?

Do you get a link light on the router when the box is plugged into it? Might as well make sure it's not gone comepletely tits-up?

connected via a router? you could always set it to 'DHCP' in the network settings screen. Once it's done, go to 'active network settings' and find out what address the router has given it - then stick that in the FTP program.

Thanks for the reply I do not know which router I have but my knowing son connected me to the box at last "flashed" the SS-Enigma V3 image and it looks very good-the only problem I now have is it finds plenty of channels and sorts them but I do not get any video/sound even though the channel ident says it there but the box says "no channel" also it scans both 6887 and 6952 and I am on 6952 what am I doing wrong?

If memory serves me correctly, /lib/libcrypto.so.0.9.7 (148kb) was NOT included in SSv3 release. Grab this out of another image- it needs to be chmod 755 - so does your softcam (emu).
