Commando 10c works, 10d doesn't (Scanning)

Bit of a bizarre problem, that has pickled me for a fair few hours.
I thought I knew my dboxes quite well, obviously not well enough lol.

Right, i wanted to upgrade from C10c to 10d because of the SMB addon, which I have been after for ages.
All flashed correctly, boots up. set my location, went to do a full scan... nothing found.
tried fast scan, still nothing, tried copying over my services and bouquets files, still nothing!

Im puzzled as to why I'm not able to get any channels found on a scan, or even get the box to keep hold of my old services files and use them.

Any ideas anyone? I've had to go back to 10c so the missus can watch tele! lol

As both versions are identical in the SML and Scan departments, I'd hazard a guess that your 10d flash wasn't the full shilling- especially as you can't even get your 10c services and buckets to work.

The 10d flash probably finished up Read-Only; reflash and try again!

ahem. here's a mistake i did a few months ago. after i flashed it, i forgot to plug the feed back in...... proper had me stumped for hours.

i'll get my coat.

I had similar problems when I first flashed 10d, my problem was firstly I forgot to read the instructions. It turned out I had not chmoded 755 the additional files required. Do you at least get FTA.
I also suffered from read only file system at some point causing all sorts of problems.
