Another bug in the CVS?

Ok, after the super quick fix of the last CVS issue (navigating with the infobar to see whats on later in the night on another channel) - i have another one that i've noticed and it's a similar issue as it involves the infobar and virtual zapping.

Just viewing a channel, When i press the 'OK' button to bring up the infobar ( for example to see what on next on this channel) most of the time it doesn't display it - it only displays whats showing (Now) and not whats on after (Next) - it's just blank.

If i navigate the info bar left or right to see whats on another channel (that channel displays correctly) then come back to it - it's still only displaying 'Now' - the only way to cure it is to press 'UP' (as if i was trying to see whats on BEFORE the current) show - then it corrects itself. anyone else experiencing this?

it's doing it in C10d and was also doing it in the laky-sylas image.


if you need any screen shots, i'm aware i need a few files on the box - which ones are they, then i can take a few images as proof.

I've noticed that too mate. I found if you go left or right then back to the channel you were on it seems to be ok again too

yeah - it's been there a little while - i wished i'd taken more notice of it so i could remember when it happened. it seems to have been around since the channel logos started appearing but i'm not sure whether it was in Al's V++ lite last image

Al - u still got your v++ lite image installed?

you mean \/irgin+ 2.1 Lite? Nah- that got kicked off before Christmas, when beta testing of C10 commenced. Anyway, I was getting tired of perfection... (pmsl)

I think you'll find these are quirks with the current FreddyFrog sectionsd as regards EPG oddities. But if you think it's summat to do with Channel Icons support going into the CVS, then I'll reflash and have a gander.

If you're on C10d, there should be no problem with screenshots in yWeb, m8.

OK- I've just put \/+2.1 back on- and left it to soak up some EPG with 20 minutes in Standby.

Yes- this displays similar oddities with Now 'n Next EPG in the Infobar. But think about it- is this such a big deal? Certainly doesn't bother me that much!

oh no, i don't think it's anything to do with that, i was just trying to pin down a time and date about when i first noticied it - so it's easier for the people in the know to check out the CVS, if u see what i mean

but it USED to work - and i was trying to find stuff for people to do - after all we're all working towards that perfect image where everything is 100% and we've squeezed every drop from the capabilities of the dbox!!


but yes, the v++ lite was pretty damn good sunshine

i'm using 1 of gavs xmas 2008 imgs....for basically watching tv and stability it really suits my box.....now/next infobar ok...only 1 day epg but that suits me....its a beta version but i'm sure gav wouldn't mind if u want a copy to try......i'm using on a sagem 2x
