You're already on 'fibre optic' service, and always have been since you had your ntl/tw/c&w analogue kit put in, m8. It's a good move to make, and will probably save you a lot of money each month, compared to what they're ripping you off for at present...

For example- a year or so ago, I was on Analogue TV basic, Phone, 1mb Broadband- £38.50 a month.

I'm now on Digital TV Size M (free), Phone size M, and 10mb Broadband- £25 a month (on DD and with eBilling).

And my three Nokia dBox2's all happily co-exist with my Samsung subbed box. I hope this answers your question, and helps you decide on the best way forward. It's a no-brainer, really...

Cheers- AL

I presume you mean upgrade you to the 50Mb connection? I run a dbox2 and have already done the upgrade. Been running for around 2 weeks now without a problem

Or just get Broadband and TV on a package and get a VoIP phone service like Vonage for £5.99 per Month with free calls 24/7 and other advanced features or pay £7.99 and get free international calls as well - I wouldn't touch the expensive VM Phone again
