Unhappy *bootp got request from loop*

Hi Everyone

I have accidently tried to flash my nokia dbox with a 1x image which gave me a kein system error(as it should have been a 2x). I have managed to get rid of that except now the box will not flash and is stuck at the lcd loading screen. I have been trying for a week now to fix this with no sucess and I am getting to the point where I never want to do another "google search" again.

Does anyone have any ideas as I am at a real loss. I get a continuous loop on ifa saying
BootP: Got request from 0019B9539F15
BootP: Got request from 0019B9539F15
BootP: Got request from 0019B9539F15
BootP: Got request from 0024360AB8D2

I have tried turning the box on and off from the wall and also pressing power button and the up button at the same time.

At the status tab it says waiting for dbox to start.

Any help at all would be really appreciated as I have looked through so many fourms and tried everything it has suggested but nothing has worked yet. I am guessing its something simple I am doing wrong. I am using a nullmodem cable and ethernet cable on a laptop with windows vista. The image I am using is Laky-Sylas x2 have renamed it to mtd3.img as previously suggested on other fourms and walk throughs.

Thanks in advance.

Luke

it'll be something straight forward - to me those look like MAC addresses and it looks like it's trying different ones. IFA works best with ALL other network cards that you're not using, disabled - thats wired AND wireless. Disable them in Device manager or from the 'network connections' screen.

Once you have only the wired network card (i'm guessing you're connecting DIRECTLY to the dbox from the PC using a CROSS OVER PATCH LEAD, not a standard network patch lead as this won't work) you'll need to make sure you FORCE the speed of the network card, Right click on the wired network connection you're using then go to the Properties of the card, in there you're looking for 'Link Speed' - change it from 'AUTO' to 10 Half Duplex'.

Next, you'll need to disable all Anti virus applications, spyware applications AND firewalls - thats windows built in ones (windows firewall) and 3rd party ones (zone alarm, etc) - make sure they're close/disabled.

Next, try different versions of IFA, some people have better success with different versions, there's also a IFA mobile version that people have lots of success with.

keep turning off at the wall, it will kick it as IFA always works if u get it right.

lose the null modem cable thats what is causing your loop,(happened to me with laptop) just use the ethernet cable and do what has been suggested above, if all else fails try it through your router dbox into router then lappy connects wireless start ifa then switch dbox on and off until it picks the box up, there is a vid showing you kein system and the router ONLY on here. best of luck
