Default V+ love?

Sorry guys, know this is off topic, but didnt seem to fit anywhere else.

My mate has given me his "old" v+ box as he's got hacked off with them and gone to Sky...

I dont suppose it's possible to do any of the stuff one would usually do with a Dbox2 (which I currently have - TC10d), with the V+?

Thanks for any hints, pointers, links or directions any one can suggest

no, nice pun with the hacked though,,,,

if the box has got a paired smartcard that hasn't been disabled by v*m, with the right tools u can get the boxkey from this and then flash a card with a working img pairing the box bk to give u a working box.....cut talkback on the box first though, this will give u the same channels as a dbox, no interactive services etc...if u don't pay for the services though this is illegal.

cheers

Thanks guys

Hmm, cards and emu's and all that goodness again eh?

Reminds me of the all the friggin' around with card and programmers on SkEye before series 10 chip...

Bit beyond me (well, actually I never had Sky, but sounds too OTT for me).

Thanks for your input tho!

Roll on TC11! (Any news on that that I've just missed btw?)
