Default VLC problems again

Was trying out the new Commando 11 (witch is a fantastic image btw)
but I am unable to stream avi files with vlc ? box just says "please wait connecting to the streaming server..."
also vlc appears to be playing on the pc

I compiled an image to test again & is exactly the same, maybe pt-1 can suggest another tip like he did last time I had bother or is the cvs broken ?

cheers Bob

Sorry I didn't spot this earlier, Bob. But it rang a bell where damned managed to get this working in Enigtrino2 (where I definately HAD stripped a load of stuff out!)

So far as I can see, all the necessary stuff is in C11 to get this working properly, unless you can spot anything amiss in /etc/inetd.conf ??

Cross-refer with damned's thread here (post #37)

Cheers- AL
