Default boot error

ok im not a n00b,when playin with dboxes, but this is puzzlin me for
a good few days,i thought to myself il try the new commando image
the end to see what its like, etc etc i opened flashfxp, click on
where my site which is dbox, and it wouldnt connect,so i tried a different
user and passy and still nothing happend,so i thought il use ifa (portable one) which ive used many a times in the past, and that wouldnt connect,it came up with an error sayin 10 times trying to connect to box, then goes on about turning firewalls etc off,so i turned everything off avg, firewall,
dhcp in the router, allowed the program thru firewall, and tried ifa again
still wouldnt connect,so i tried an older ifa 1.5.6 and when that started
it stop with an error sayin summat about hyperthreadin ?????,so i tried boot-manager and that stopped and came up with error, think that mentioned summat about network configuration in german, and like i said firewalls turned off avg turned off, what could be stoppin the box from bootin up when i start ifa or boot-manager and flashfxp, the box boots up as normal if these programs are not runnin never had this problem before i formated the drive or countless off other times ive formated, this is the first time ive seen it do this
will there be a settin in xp pro somewhere to

ive included the boot up info from ifa (which says boot net failed)

anyway ive managed to get the image on the box by using me old lappy, connected up thru flashfxp

but why wont main pc connect to the box ????

So this exonerates your dBox2 of all blame entirely, and points the finger at your PC (and maybe a dead NIC, or incompatible NIC settings in TC/IP) as being the guilty party!

Cheers- AL

You are trying to ping/connect to 192.168.2.202?

Were you using a cross over cable or router when trying on main pc and lappy?
