Default Ex C&W Frequency Shift for all channels

Hello all. I haven't been around recently due to a family bereavement.

Those of you who are members on digitalworldz will be aware of the problems that people have been having on Leeds ExC&W. My best guess is that there's been a frequency shift for all channels and the fast scan settings for Leeds ExC&W are now redundant.

A full slow scan found all my channels but put everything into the 'Unsorted' bouquet, which is the only one I have now. I will sort some bouquets out over the weekend. If anyone wants a copy of my services.xml now for embedding fast scan settings into future images, please let me know.

Cheers

If the default frequency has changed, can you manually enter that in the fast scan settings - does that work?

I can try but I'm not sure what to change the settings to. There are lots of frequencies in my new services.xml, including the old default frequency of 666750000.

I've just checked the settings on my ntl modem. According to that the downstream frequency is 586750000 and the sym rate remains at 6952. I left the net id and sym rate alone and changed the default frequency accordingly and the fast scan found zero channels.

Have I done something wrong?

You need to go into the Engineers Menu on a subbed digibox nearby to see the working default frequency, NetID etc, m8

Cheers- AL

No subbed box. I'd hoped the settings from the subbed modem would do it but alas not.
