anyone else had simmilar issues?

Hi there all, been a while since i last posted!!
couple of things here.
1) i installed the new commando 11.3 2x image on a sagem 1x box using imageworks v.0.1.1 to convert the image. box rebooted fine, then after changing a few file attributes, performing a little "MAGIC", rebooted again, and iam in KEIN MODE, this happened a few times and i have to use my null modem cable to get out of it... Anyone else had this? any solutions available? cheers!!

2) a hardware question, does anyone know if the tuner on a 1x box is identical to a 2x box? iam convinced that my 2x box's tuner is buggered and i have many 1x boxes, anyone had experience in changing them over? highly appreciated!!

well on with the show and more fiddling with the damn box!!

The image should be readily convertable but this can happen from time to time.
Have you tried the same image on a 2x box to make sure that the image is not corrupt before conversion?

Download a new version and try again. If you used winzip for a zip file try using 7zip instead (in my experience this has been an issue when extracting patches for server upgrades).

Have a scroogle about as i have definately seen a dbox mods/repair pdf kicking about which covers everything from debug mode,hdd addition to tuners and LCD repairs.

I will reply in this thread if i find it in my stash of tut CDs.
