Default dbox FTP ?

Hi after looking for a way to get a decent FTP programme I tried the one from our site ,the link is Image Modding School. After unloading the full file and then opening it I get a VIRUS warning message.
So either it has a virus or my machine is to sensitive? Can some one who knows what is what ,as I would not be able to sort it out.
All I want is a good FTP, but the latest programme will not connect to my DBOX? 530 error comes up

Hi

If you use Firefox try the Fire FTP plugin.
Basic, but does all you need for the dbox...shows hidden files, chmod etc. Works on Windows & Linux as well.

Or

Try Filezilla..... Free and with more features ......FileZilla - The free FTP solution (hope it's ok to post links?)

Also check the usual stuff that may block the programme .....firewalls, routers etc...

Cheers.

I've read that the culprit on hookey software (FlashFXP included) is the keygen file, which is picked up by most AV progs as a virus-infected file, when it isn't.

Anyway, it doesn't affect me, coz my FlashFXP is bought, paid for and licensed! It's only $25 ffs- and the support from NZ is superb, plus it's regularly upgraded for free. Why fook about with dodgy copies?

If you use Mozilla FireFox, then install the FireFTP plugin - it does the job too!
