I have a DBox2 and recently loaded with Comm11 (not Comm 11.3; don't know how to install files)
Everything works fine but just keep getting picture freeze Any remedy or solutions? Please I've found the search section and previous comments which suggests that I shouldn't mess with what I've got. Strange that it didn't happen with another image Maybe coincidence but if anyone else wouldn't mind giving their views on this subject I'll leave the thread open. try reflashing the box, just in case it is a bad flash, and make sure there is no problem with cable connections !!

Now reverting back to Virgin image which didn't have this problem. However, I've lost the original Bouquet settings and don't know where to find the files to save them and reinstall once I've set them up again. |

Your services and bouquets files will be found here on your box, via FTP:
/var/tuxbox/config/zapit/bouquets.xml /var/tuxbox/config/zapit/services.xml ALWAYS keep up to date backups of these files on your PC!! They will save all the arseache of Set My Location, (a lot of noobs don't seem to know where they live), Scanning, and then Bouquet Editor. In other words, 30 seconds work, instead of 4 hours, LOL! Cheers- AL

Thank you Al
I found these two files before and tried copying back one or the other but not together. That didn't change things even after a reboot so I got nervous. Are these files interchangable with other images or must they be used only with the image we get them from? Just a follow up, Tested and working Last edited by donboon; 14-02-2010 at 09:59 PM.. |
