You really need to firstly establish if this box is an old one with 16mb memorry, or the later type with 32mb
The LCD bmon screen at boot will tell you this; the bottom row of figures will read something like 8-0-16 or 8-0-32 Or, telnet in and df to see how much space tmp has. If this box is 16mb memory only, then put it back in the loft, m8 Cheers- AL

as long as your not using the free internal extra memory slot with an ide hdd interface then you should be able to upgrade memory. assuming the old sat version
has the free extra memery slot that is. various Chip's and IC's - Linux@dbox2.net - Shop |

And there was me thinking that the old Nokia 16mb dboxes couldn't have an extra 16mb memory card added; we learn summat new every day...
OK, once you have this box in 32mb setup, that should cure your backup/flash issues, as you'll then have shedloads of free space in the /tmp folder. Renwich might have to help a bit regarding getting cccam working, as I'm not sure if this required added code in the neutrino binary, or if it was just a not so obvious bolt-on for the pmt support lacking in neutrino. A different /var/tuxbox/ucodes/cam-alpha.bin driver might be needed as well, since the version in your image is probably optimized for cable, rather than Sat. Cheers- AL
