Default I Bought my Dbox off ebay its dead what can i do ?

meny a times and meny a forum i read this thread. here is a quick and simple answer to your question.

A: you can relist it on ebay and hope ssome other mug like yourself will bid extreame amounts of money on it.

OR

B: Have a heart cut your losses and offer the box in this thread to a deveeloper that could use it for testing. why continue the endless chain of ripping poor unsuspecting people on ebay .

And not just a complete box would be usefull, just some parts could help a dev, such as even broken psu's, tuners, remote handset etc.....

Hi
I have acquired a totally fooked Nokia box form a mate.
Somebody has ripped the tuner out of it...in a brutal kind of way!
It's an Avia 600.
Motherboard looks grossly intact.
Case is mostly OK... cracked at the back where the tuner has been wrenched out.
Even has front flap on!
Modem and LCD still present.
Obviously not able to even turn this on .... but free to a Dev if anyone is interested?

Cheers

Andy

I wouldnt mind paying somebody up to 50 quid for a box that works (will flash images, FTP, etc) yet has a faulty tuner, or 70 quid for a box that works and receives channels but may have underlying issues.

I'm going to need a box to work with whilst developing some bits and pieces that people have mentioned, so up for anything really but cant quite stretch to £140 on ebay!!!!!!!

Hope you have reported it to ebay - if you have paid via paypal you should report it to them - you may get your money back.
