Channel Problems

I have been having a few probs with the channels as of late also a couple of friends in and around the same area as me.

The problem, discov are most affected the rest seem to drop off as and when i turn over to them, and the only way to get them back is scan! for channels, over the week i have had to do this every couple of days now.

I have checked the sig levels etc all fine re flashed put backed up service files back on that once worked now dont, i have even checked VM website for issues but my area is in the clear, is there any other reason why the services are not updating.

Any help or advice on this matter would be great, thanks.

i take it you mean w/o msgs ? if so then its on. i scanned at a friends house just round corner with my box and found 292 tv sorted i thought then couple of days they dropped off again, there been a key roll in tw and thats when they started to go. now when i am scanning im only getting 246 tv all the one that dropped off are not getting found again

ok so wot happens if you get a good services and turn off the section scan

sections scan off and not picking anything up getting transponders etc so persume tuner is not at fault

when i 1st noticed it i was using Als vlite, so flashed commando on then the same and then blade trinity final just same on all, but its strange that friends in lpool had same prob and friends down road from me when i scan i only get the 1s that i have not lost?

have you got an old services file,? wonder if that might bring them back

Done the old services file ren they are the 1s that went off so that was 1st thing i did tbh iv scanned then got the channels all of em backed them up put my old services on then channels gone so put new services back on fine for couple of days think i may do a bootlog put that on as i cant see anything wrong with it

and the other boxes are missing exactly the same in other houses, must be a vermin thing then, or a weak sig
