Services for Dublin 3/9/08
No bouquets dont get enough channels to worry about them

Wiz- do you have any idea on NetID, Freq and SymRate for County Meath, between you and the border, m8?

Do you know if they're fed out of Dublin northwards, or southwards down from Bellyfast?

Not really AL,but if its Ch*rus cable then sym rate should be 6875 and N*L cable would be 6887,but you probably already know that.

if i put a new image on will i need a new services file?

you should be able to use your current services if it works. just ftp it off before reflashing then add it again

Hi guys, I have flashed my Nokia Dbox2 with Commando 11, and am living in Newbridge Co. Kildare. But, the problem am having is missing channels...

I am getting only 61 Transponders hence only 74 Channels.

Am with Chorus Ireland, on Net ID. 42753, Frequency. 339500 with a Symbol Rate of 6887.

Is there anything I need to do to get all the channels? And do the current Cam files I have of "Ëvocamd & Mgcamb" need to be change or do they have nothing to do with the channels?

What about uCodes what are the best? Any issue there?

Kindly let me know what I might be doing wrong....thanks.

Guys tried this but it failed to find any channels and no Transponders. But, the interesting bit is, as am Using Commando 11 The Symbol rate cannot be changed from the current 6887, only other option is 69 something.

Any other ideas?

For manual testing - and feedback for Cydine please!

Use Metapad (Freeware) to edit this line in /var/tuxbox/config/scan.conf from:

symrate=6887 or
symrate=6952

to:

symrate=6875

then reboot your box and try Scanning again. Hope this helps, m8- if it does, then Cydine needs to know, so that he can introduce this new SymRate into his zapit stuff!!

Hang on a mo, you wallies- since WHEN has Dublin been part of UK? So the only reason you're seeing 6887/6952 is that you're on the default provider: UkCable !! Try toggling this to-

Chorus Ireland where the SymRate is then set to 6875000 for you! Save Settings and Scan!
