Just loaded it up on my daughters' lappy, running Vista, with a view to doing the mini tut.......All was fine, ran a test then on the second run when trying to do the tut the bloody thing didn't work.

I tried a few more times, rebooted then tried another few times, but alas no joy. Maybe this little proggy, like so many others is just not Vista compatible.

Once I get my lappy fixed, or buy a new one running XP, I'll get the tut done.

Incidentally, it's pretty simple, click the logo-fb tab, load the picture file, follow the prompts save the file as MV1. You then rename the file to logo.fb and use the proggy to send it to the box via FTP ( after having set the network settings to suit your own set up )

Cheers

Rod

Yep- boot logo is easy, but you missed the vital starting point, m8. Which is, your source picture needs to be exactly 720 x 576 px in size, and has to be 256 colour .BMP format.

Also, when asked if you want a border- say no.

Now who knows the input format to make an LCD logo, please?

Cheers- AL

Sorted! Here's our new UkCvs.org LCD Logo, lads. Just rename it to logo-lcd (it's not really a rar file).

Just tested it- and very professional it looks too!

Cheers- AL

Cheers turner mate.

Tried this version on my daughter's lappy ( although it seems to be the same version as the one I was using before !!! ) but alas the same problem.......runs through the process but doesn't work !!!!

I don't really bother with this much mate and TBH I have more pressing issues at the moment in that my son's lappy is totally infested with viruses !!! ( I put a new HDD in it only a few weeks back, so I'm going to kick his arse !!! )

I'm off to do a full formatt and reinstall XP on that one !!

All the best
