Rss images and transponders?

Hi I fairly new to this DBOX and selection of images and to be honest without saying any thing you all know what I'm using them for! The question about transponders is this ;depending on the image I use some wrong and I get the dreaded Kein system is the number of transponders some will give me 90 approx and other 370 and up to 376.why the one I'm flashing at present gives me 376 and I hope will c***r all my channels?

Hi what image are you using at the minute?
you will only get kein system if you flash a 1x on a 2x box vise versu
kein system aint as bad as its made out to be
watch my video on kein system here on this forum (very easy to fix)
have you tried setting your area for fast scan? and fast scan set as on?
much quicker 5 mins to scan then only 30 o so transponders

also remember images from here are FTA so you will need to test (for educational purpose) with magic files ie keys roms are not present

Rss images and transponders?
Hi thanks for the expert reply- I am at present using the Andromeda image which dies give me the full 376; the only problems being is that channel 1 comes up as BBC(north) even after setting my location up to were I live.
As to the Kien system I have been using the very quick method that I found and read to use correctly So in stead of taking up to 1 1/2 hours I can flash in 10 minuets which is fast

why dont you try out a cvs image? lots to choose from, remember thou to backup your image also extract the files you need from that image via ftp if you have not got them saved already (keys roms emu) also your service files n bouquets so you dont have to scan and put them all in order again (pain in the B hind) !!!

if it sets your location correctly, it should reboot immediately then when u go into the scan menu, the netid options should have values in them - you can then perform a quick scan. it should only pick up 30 or so tranponders if done correctly

make a services file and you don't need to scan any transponders

Hi, What about when you are able to get Transponders (61 in my case) but they are not enough as I only get 74 channels?

Am in Newbridge, Co. Kildare Ireland. And am sure I should/ or could be getting more channels. What happens in this case? How can I rectify this?

Am using Nokia DBox2 Neutrino with a Commando 11 image. I have scanned and rescanned for my are but no changes in number of channels.

Help Thanks.............
