Im contemplating editing my bouquets in XML as cant find anything usable to edit them with

Does anyone know if 3D should work? I have a 3D TV but just getting 'split screen' I dont think I have a 1.4 HDMI cable, but im not buying one if it wont work.

A mate of mine has a 3D tv and states it works, I've never seen it so can't confirm

I would suggest you try the latest DBUK 2.1.1 image,
it has everything setup for UK users i.e. 28.2e,
CrossEPG and Virtualzap installed by default,

as renny says dreamboxedit for your buckets and not sure about 3D as I also get the split screen but dont have a 3D tv

Bear in mind that some newer images will have newer bootloaders/ssl's so make sure to either use an image that matches your bootloader or update your bootloader first,

To update your bootloader just flash over the new one as if you are flashing an image but allow the box to reboot completely,then you can flash the image over,
if its a non-patched image flash the bootloader again BEFORE rebooting the box,
if its a patched image then just reboot after flashing the image

I have a 3D tv and I can watch 3D with my 800se.
It comes up split screen then I just select sbs on the TV to get a 3d picture.
The bouquets are easy enough to edit on the box using the menu key on the remote but your right enigma is crap.
hdmi 1.4 is fine if you like to waste your money, I have cheapo ones (3mtr) and they work fine,
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HDMI unless your running long lengths then you need to up the quality but anything under 5mtrs should be fine.
If your getting sbs then the cable is working you just need to select sbs from the 3d menu on the tv.
