Default OpenVPN for Commando 14.4

In the previous version of Commando, unzip support was added to busybox in order that LraiZer's NeuXmlEpg worked properly, when downloading the latest Rytec sources data.

For Commando 14.4 there was a last minute (and undocumented) addition to the startup files, where if a file named update.zip is found in the /var/etc/ folder, it will install itself automatically. LraiZer suggested that we might as well take full advantage of the unzip function

As the takeup rate for 14.4 on here seems quite good, with over 50 downloads at the time of writing this, we thought we'd offer an add-on goody to test this feature.

The add-on we've chosen is OpenVPN and we're hoping their might be a C14.4 user or two who can test it out for us in real terms. We can only take is so far, to the point where openvpn is a running process, and it's logfile ends with 'Listening for incoming TCP connection'.

To try it out, simply pop the attached zipfile into /var/etc and reboot the box. Afterwards, pop your own config, keys and certs into the /var/etc/openvpn folder, to replace our non-working examples.

Feedback eagerly awaited! And thanks to Laz for making the new installer file- brilliant work!

Cheers- AL

WOOOOOO!!

Nice one thanks, Humforce! Good to see willing testers so fast on feedback, too!

There you go, LraiZer- all your hard work recompiling to get the right libs, and repackaging the installer zip (and embedded tarball, to get the right chmod permissions etc) was not in vain.

Cheers- AL
